I learned the function of the Plug Gauge used for checking hole dimensions and accuracy. I understood how GO and NO-GO inspection methods help maintain dimensional standards. This helped me gain practical knowledge about ensuring product quality through dimensional verification.

I learned about the Mounting Hole Position Gauge, which is used to verify the correct location and alignment of mounting holes. Proper hole positioning is important to ensure smooth assembly and fitment of the pump. I also learned the importance of following standard inspection procedures while using the gauge.

Day 64 (Saturday)
Date: 21/02/2026
I learned about the different caps used to protect the IMV (Inlet Metering Valve) and other critical areas of BS4 and BS6 pumps during Final Inspection and handling. I understood the importance of using the correct protective caps to prevent dust entry, physical damage, and contamination. This activity highlighted the role of protective components in maintaining product quality before dispatch.
