Week 20

Department: UPCR – Final Inspection
Company: Delphi TVS, Sriperumbudur

Day 136 (Wednesday)
Date: 06/05/2026
I improved my inspection skills by identifying a greater number of defects during Final Inspection activities. Through continuous practice, I became more confident in detecting visual defects, missing components, incorrect markings, and other quality issues before product dispatch.

Day 137 (Thursday)
Date: 07/05/2026
I learned the importance of maintaining rejected pumps with proper identification tags. These tags help ensure traceability and prevent defective products from being mixed with approved pumps. Proper tagging also supports rework and quality control activities.

Day 138 (Friday)
Date: 08/05/2026
I learned about the different identification tags used in the production area and the significance of their colors. Understanding the purpose of each tag helped me improve my knowledge of product status identification and material control procedures.

Day 139 (Saturday)
Date: 09/05/2026
I learned that yellow identification tags are commonly used in Final Inspection Station 1 (F1) for pumps that require rework. These tags indicate that the pump has been identified with a defect and must be corrected before it can proceed for further inspection or dispatch.

 Day 140 (Sunday)
Date: 10/05/2026
I learned about the use of green identification tags in the production area. Green tags are used for accepted pumps that have successfully passed all inspection requirements and meet the specified quality standards. These tags help in the quick identification of OK parts and support smooth material flow.

Day 141 (Monday)
Date: 11/05/2026
I learned about the use of red identification tags for rejected pumps. Red tags are attached to products that have been found with defects during inspection and are not allowed to proceed to the next process. These tags help prevent defective products from reaching customers and ensure proper segregation of non-conforming parts.

Day 142 (Tuesday)
Date: 12/05/2026
Week Off.
