During this week, a new Final Inspection Station 2 was implemented in the inspection area. I learned about the purpose of the new station and its role in improving inspection efficiency and product quality. The implementation helped distribute inspection activities more effectively and supported the quality control process.

Day 81 (Tuesday)

I learned the inspection process followed at Final Inspection Station 2. The station is equipped with dedicated fixtures and inspection methods to verify critical quality requirements of fuel injection pumps. This helped me understand the importance of station-specific inspection controls.

Day 82 (Wednesday)
Date: 11/03/2026
I learned about the defect detection process used in Final Inspection Station 2. The station is designed to identify multiple defects before product dispatch. I observed how systematic inspection methods help prevent defective pumps from reaching customers and improve overall product reliability.

Day 83 (Thursday)

I understood that the fixtures available in Final Inspection Station 2 are designed specifically for BS4 and BS6 pump models. These fixtures help ensure accurate inspection and verification of critical pump characteristics according to quality standards.

Day 84 (Friday)

I learned that CTA pump models cannot be inspected using the existing fixtures available at Final Inspection Station 2. Separate inspection methods or fixtures are required for CTA pumps due to differences in design and inspection requirements. This helped me understand the importance of model-specific inspection systems.

I revised the functions of Final Inspection Station 2, fixture applications, defect detection methods, and model-specific inspection requirements. This revision improved my understanding of inspection processes and quality assurance activities in the Final Inspection department.

Day: 20 (Tuesday) Date: 06/01/2026 Observed customer-specific pump variations and understood their application-based differences. Day: 21 (Wednesday) Date: 07/01/2026 Supervisor explained the names and functions of UPCR pump parts. Day: 22 (Thursday) Date: 08/01/2026 Leave is taken to receive the laptop in the college Day: 23 (Friday) Date: 09/01/2026 Leave is taken to receive the laptop in the college Day: 24 (Saturday) Date: 10/01/2026 Leave is taken to receive the laptop in the college Day; 25 (Sunday) Date: 11/01/2026 Learned the difference between each pump type based on design and markings.

Week:6 Day: 39 (Monday) Date: 26/01/2026 Observed the complete final inspection workflow. Learned how inspection consistency is maintained by following standard checkpoints for each UPCR pump. Day: 40 (Tuesday) Date: 27/01/2026 Practiced visual inspection under the guidance of the final inspector. Learned to identify minor defects, surface finish issues, and part alignment. Day: 41 (Wednesday) Date: 28/01/2026 Learned about communication during final inspection. Understood how abnormalities are reported to the team leader for corrective action. Day: 42 (Thursday) Date: 29/01/2026 Observed inspection approvals and marking process. Learned the importance of documentation and traceability after final inspection.
