Week 11

Department: UPCR – Final Inspection
Company: Delphi TVS, Sriperumbudur

Day 73 (Monday)
Date: 02/03/2026
I learned about the Flush Pin Gauge used in Final Inspection. The gauge is used to verify whether pins and assembled components are positioned at the correct height level. I understood the importance of checking flush conditions to ensure proper assembly quality and prevent fitment issues. I also practiced using the gauge correctly and interpreting inspection results.

Day 74 (Tuesday)
Date: 03/03/2026
I learned the application of the Angle Position Gauge. This gauge is used to verify the angular alignment of critical components in the pump assembly. I understood how improper angular positioning can affect pump performance and quality. I also observed the correct method of placing and verifying the gauge during inspection.

Day 75 (Wednesday)
Date: 04/03/2026
I learned to use the M14 Thread GO Gauge and M14 Thread NO-GO Gauge. The GO Gauge confirms that the thread is manufactured correctly and allows proper assembly, while the NO-GO Gauge ensures that the thread does not exceed the specified tolerance limit. This activity improved my understanding of thread quality inspection and acceptance criteria.

Day 76 (Thursday)
Date: 05/03/2026
I started performing inspection activities faster while maintaining accuracy and quality standards. Through continuous practice, I improved my efficiency in checking pumps and identifying defects without missing critical inspection points.

Day 77 (Friday)
Date: 06/03/2026
I further improved my inspection speed and confidence in handling Final Inspection responsibilities. I was able to complete inspection activities more efficiently by following standard procedures and maintaining concentration throughout the process.

Day 78 (Saturday)
Date: 07/03/2026
Week Off.

Day 79 (Sunday)
Date: 08/03/2026
I improved my ability to use the inspection software more quickly and accurately. I learned how to enter inspection data, verify records, and complete documentation efficiently. This helped me understand the importance of software systems in maintaining traceability and quality records in the manufacturing process.
